a; welcome to the world of real estate ownership;
b; I am an exclusive buyer’s agent and I can legally rep you and
be paid by the seller [when you get to that point]
c; you should go to your favorite bank and get “pre-qualified” That takes
an hour or two but the actual loan can take up to 6 mo. Lenders
are weird in this current econ situation.
d; determine where in the state you want to be, then, decide whether
house or condo…I suggest house……no Condo assn to hassle with
e; if by yourself, a fixed up home with 2 bedrooms, 1-2 baths.
f; visit the neighborhood in the day time and at night
before making an offer.
g; if you use me or another agent [always choose a buyer's agent
rather than a dual agent or no agent at all]
we will make sure you get the house inspected, appraised, buy
appliance insurance, and prepare for the move a week before
escrow is to close–and have contingencies in case the seller
plays games.
