Suggestions to promote fast sale of house?

We are trying sale a house in Neosho Missouri and relocate to Arkansas. I already have a job and am in Arkansas, but my husband isn’t. Its not a fancy house, but it is a nice house with a lot of possibilities. The market is slow and so far we haven’t had any luck. We’ve had it up for sale by owner for about 6 weeks. We had it up for sale with a realtor for about 3 months last spring. Does anyone have any suggestions at all as to how to hurry along the sale of this house? We’re desperate….We’ll try anything…..

    Clean, clean, clean. Make sure not a lot of ‘stuff’ is in the corners. Like, don’t have something in every corner.

    Make sure, just the necessities are there—furniture and a few plants.

    Call a Realtor and get suggestions, or get them to come see what you have done.

    Lower the selling price some, you must be asking too much. You can also offer to loan the downpayment to the buyers and negotiate a repayment contract.

    Get yourself a small statue of St francis and burry it upside down facing the street , make sure its by the for sale sign , I ve heard this works
