If they already held the auction and somebody signed a legal agreement to buy the home, then it sounds like you’re out of luck.

You could try contacting the bank and asking them. They may be willing to ask the prospective buyer if they’d allow you to buy them out of their contract.

You don’t have any time left because your ship sailed 2 days ago.

You said it wasn’t on the MLS anymore…you never said that you KNEW for a fact that someone put a deposit on it.

Auctions are public records…you can call the bank and see who bought it and make them an offer. You can also tell the bank that you want to purchase it in case the person who bought it cannot complete the sale…but this usually goes to the next highest bidder who actually was at the auction.

Auction offers are legally binding contracts…so the bank couldn’t give it to you if someone else had a contract on it even if you offered double the price.

you’ve missed it as it’s already sold – all you can do is approach the buyer and offer them more than they paid for it.

More than likely you can’t get it now. Keep checking mls for the next couple of weeks. Maybe the sale will fall through & it’ll be available again,

If the auction was held then the title has likely been passed quickly to the new owner. Look it up in the records and see if they’ll sell it to you for a quick profit. The realtor and bank are no longer interested in the property if is has been sold at auction.

If there is already a “deposit’ on a home, then contacting ANYONE with a different offer could get you sued for interfering with a contract.
