What is the best way to rent out my house?
Live about 20 miles south west of Chicago in a fairly large city, with one of the best high schools in the country. Have an agent, but not many people even come to look at the house. Leaving the country soon, so i’m desperate to rent it. Any advice is appreciated.

rent your house thru a realitor this way when they lease it and someone tears it up you can make realitor fix it.

i need a lot more data; its age, condition, etc.
a lot of people want to rent. IF it is in super clean condition,
and the neighborhood is clean, piece of cake.
if it is a bit dirty and so is the neighborhood, what is the
renter’s incentive to rent?
I need more data.

Advertise! Advertise! Advertise! those are 3 words you deffinitly will not regret!
-consider using a site like MLS.com and other commonly used sites.
-Put quality pictures of your house on the site.
- make sure that their are no animals in the pictures or that the people who come to veiw the house dont realise that their was an animal in the house.(if you have a pet)
- if you have a pet DONT leave it in the house when people come to look at it!
- if nothing works consider lowering the price.
- DONT EVER on a website put “call for pricing” over half the people will not bother!
