I want to rent a house or apartment in brisbane and was wondering what i need? ID, bank statements, payment slips, etc? Also, can i negotiate a lower rate of rent and a smaller length of time? What do i do if i want to break the lease? Do i get bad credit?

    Every place you go, either house or apartment will have different requirements, different rent rates and different lease length options. Your best bet is to start calling around or visiting the places in person to find out everything you can before you decide on a place.
