How old you have to be to rent a beach house?

rent my house
I wanted to rent a house in Stone Harbor, NJ for senior week. I wasn’t sure if I could rent it myself, or if we would have to have one of our parents do it for us. I am 18 years old.

Depends on owner. I wouldn’t rent to underage or HS tenants, but some do.

Legally, you would have to be at least 18 in order to sign a contract. In the real world, however, chances are good that you won’t find any landlords willing to rent to you. Most landlords require a credit check, a substantial damage deposit, and references, none of which most 18-year-olds would be able to provide.
