In need of a cellphone – now?
Hello, I’m in grade 6 and I’m finding that I’m desperately in need of a cellphone! It sounds silly, but when ever I’m shopping (needing to call my mom), out at a friends, out with my friends, and just needing to talk to somebody, I have no phone to use, (except for my home phone which I do not appreciate lol).
Things I would need the phone for:
*Mostly texting
*Calling home or to my mom from local places (eg. school, mall, friends house, park)
I’m looking for a nice but cheap phone plan, that includes unlimited texing, I know that I will be texing more than I will be calling for a fact.
Other information:
*my mom has a phone
*the phone needs to be good for texing
*I would have to pay for the phone it self plus for it each month
*I receive $100 a month for allowance (so paying for the phone should not be a big issue, but I would not want to be spending all of the 100 bucks paying for the phone each month).
All I need to know is what the best phone and plan is that will fit my needs.

You could try a ‘GO phone’ or a ‘trac fone’ and depending on where you live you could try ‘cricket’ they’re really good. But really, you don’t need a cell phone especially not “now” and definately not “desperately”, sorry, but the only okay excuse was the mall one. What, you can’t borrow your friend’s phone? Or if you’re at a friend’s house, is it really oh so painful to use their home phone for 2 seconds?
