You are NOT entitled to anything.
Why do people always want the easy way out????

You need to speak to your local council housing officer. They can give you a form to fill in regarding your income etc, and give you a decision based on that.

Its hard to say. Depending on where you live now. If the agency thinks your living conditions are fair, then they’ll make you wait longer. Its not a thing of being “entitled” as to been in urgent need of housing.

the best thing to do is go 2 your local housing benifits office & get advice!! u say ur partner is self employed so he would need to prove that his income is low! or visit a citezins advice centre where they can give u legal advice for free.

This is a really good website. It gives you an estimate of what you can claim.

Not a good enough excuse to beg the government to help you. Your partner can watch the kids at night and weekends for you to get a job.
If you can’t afford housing, why did you have children- how are you affording them? Asking the government to help feed them and get them healthcare too?

There are some hard replies on here people!
It will come down to HOW much he actually earns. You should try somewhere like the housing association as they are set up purely to help people in your situation.
I employ someone who is similar to your partner, he has a rented house through an association and pays about a quarter of what it costs at standard rate.

Question, what happen in the situation when you wrote it was ok to have a baby at 16.
“Well i got preganant at 16 and am just about to have my baby and im in a stable relationship and we have money to take care of a child so i really dont see what the problem is as long as you can deal with everything including money”.
