Ask the/your realtor. Was it a private party that made an offer on your home or through a realtor? The offer is not proof that the house will be sold, as it has to go through escrow which takes some time. You might contact the counts or seek out a lawyer who could give you the best information as to how to proceed.

The mortgage lender can only stop the repossession. Discuss with them to solve your problem.

It depends how far the case has progressed has there been a final judgement and eviction notice?

If you live in England/Wales you need to go back to court and explain that you have an offer on the house,

Common sense says that there is no point in repossessing a house that is under offer.

It depends on the judge but if you can show you have a buyer he may suspend the warrant.
