My furnished rental house has been repossessed and the tenant still there. I have not received any evicition?
The bank has not served me with any eviction notices as of yet. Can I collect this month’s rent from the tenant? It is a fully furnished house and I’m responsible for all utilities.

Sure, you can try…but the bank may have already started eviction proceedings on the tenant, or collected rent themselves.
You could also turn off the utilities since you no longer own it

You can legally collect rent until the day the bank takes possession.
If you have not told your tenant about this yet, then you need to. While you are not legally required to, it is the right thing to do.
Any notice of eviction will most likely go to the house anyway.
EDIT: The bank CANNOT collect any rent until they legally own it.

Just sit tight the foreclosure documents will arrive soon enough, you can agree with the bank to vacate by a certain date, the bank could offer you money to vacate take it or leave it.The other choice is to have them evict you that could be lengthy, so enjoy your stay.

As long as you haven’t been served papers, you can collect rent – the house is still yours. However, you may have to check with local laws when on precisely when the exact time in the process it is when the bank takes over such.
