Check and make sure the title is in your name. Find all your mortgage papers and make sure the physical description is the right one for your property. And make sure you are listed as the owner at the tax office if you live where property taxes are paid. Consider talking to a real estate attorney.

Did you check to see if there were liens filed against the property before you bought it? If there were you might not have a clear title to the property.

Wow. I hope you have the real title and right to the house, and the bank doesn’t own it. Sounds like you need a criminal attorney as well as a real estate one – if this guy frauded you.
I really feel for your situation. It’s amazing the amount of BS people will do and scams they will try. It seems nowdays that BS is the style, unfortunately.
