can i still purchase a home ( repo) if im currently excepting food stamps from the gov ?
im twenty three years old and i came across a great opportunity to buy a house for very little. Its a repossession from the bank and im not sure if being on government assistance is gonna stop this from happening

If your recieving food stamps how the hell are you going to pay property tax? Utilities? How are you going to make repairs to the home? Houses need repairs!! If you can afford to buy a home maybe you dont really need food stamps? Just a guess.

Even people on food stamps need a place to live, and it sounds like you are finding something very affordable. To answer your question, no, your food stamps will have nothing to do with the transaction and will not stop you.
