They are for a party and I’m clueless where to look. Most prop houses don’t have them and the few rug stores who rent are way over-priced. Any ideas?

Friends and i are considering moving to a large 3 bed detached property. I currently rent at the moment so know the expenses involved.
However, this property is run on lpg gas. How much, as a rough figure, may we be looking to pay each month? We are not ancient so the house would not be kept at oven temperature, nor are we eskimos so a comfy temp would be maintained throughout. the property is new inside with double glazing and well insulated.

Also, again as a rough figure, any ideas on electricity for a month. The electric only supplies the lighting and sockets, not any heating. and my friends and i are energy saving conscious and turn off lights when leaving the room and switch off all plug sockets and standby buttons.

I currently rent a large 2 bed flat with no double glazing and only night storage heaters and my electricity per month is £90!

Any rough figures would be useful as we need to work out budgets and costings..

My budget is about $250000. I can choose new house in Pincourt with good size 1539 sf or 25-35 years old house in West island with around 1300 sf size. From Pincourt to Pointe-Claire just needs 20-25 mins. My husband works at Pointe-Claire. I have a kid just 11 months old. We have to buy a house but we really struggle about where. Do you think Pincourt has the potencial to become second west island? One day Pincourt will well develope? Become a convience city like Pointe-Claire or Pierrefonds?

I understand it’s a slow market. I’ve had my house on the market for almost 60 days with no action. How do you select a good agent? What do you look for? Are there any websites to show real estate agents sales track record? In a slow market what is the best way to sell a home besides just waiting?

I’m going to court in a couple weeks so that the bank can officially take my house back. I haven’t made any payments since September because it was out of control. Are they simply gonna take the property or will they go after my money as well?

Hi! We run a web based company that sells many performance auto parts and accessories. But online sales have been VERY slow lately. What do you think of the idea of a flyer to put on cars and maybe doorknobs of houses detailing our reusable hgh flow filters and how much gas they can save the average person? I know flyers can be annoying, but we are not selling some gimic. The filter pays for itself in gas savings in about 2 to 3 months time, and you also never have to buy another filter!

How do you think the flyers will go over? Would it be worth the trouble? Will people wanting to save gas (which should be about everyone these days) take notice and purchase?

Hi all,

I was given misinformation from my local authority. They told me I was entitled to up to £700 Housing Benefit per month for a 1 bedroom flat. However, I have since moved into a 1 bedroom flat and have now been told that I am NOT entitled to that amount – because they have an age restriction (you must be over 25 for a 1 bedroom flat allowance).

They did not tell me about the age restriction before-hand, and now I am in serious debt because of them and cannot afford my rent payments.

I thought there was maybe a Misinformation Act, but I can’t find any info anywhere.

What can I do about this? Do I have any rights at all? Surely there must be something for those who are given misinformation?

katt121 – I do have a job actually, I work from home as a Freelance Games Developer and I pay my taxes, and I have been working since I was 13, not that it is any of your business.

I do have proof of the amount they offered me, as they record all of their phone calls. They can review my phone call to them if it comes to that.
I don’t really need a lawyer lol, anyone who knows anything about law would be able to help me. It is a very simple question, I thought!
